Missionaries of Winona

Missions are central to the sovereign purpose of God who is calling out from all nations a people for His Name.

SIMEON HAS RELATED HOW GOD FIRST VISITED THE GENTILES, TO TAKE FROM THEM A PEOPLE FOR HIS NAME.  ACTS 15:14, ESV

Missions in its broadest scope is that part of every activity of the church ministry which contributes towards the effective fulfillment of the Great Commission of Christ.

AND JESUS CAME AND SAID TO THEM,

“ALL AUTHORITY IN HEAVEN AND ON EARTH HAS BEEN GIVEN TO ME. GO THEREFORE AND MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS, BAPTIZING THEM IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER AND OF THE SON AND OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, TEACHING THEM TO OBSERVE ALL THAT I HAVE COMMANDED YOU, AND BEHOLD, I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, TO THE END OF THE AGE.” MATTHEW 28:18-20, ESV
Winona Gospel Church, in response to the great Commission has a committee which oversees the planning, integration, promotion and support of missions through the various ministries of the fellowship.
