Missionaries of Winona
Missions are central to the sovereign purpose of God who is calling out from all nations a people for His Name (“Simon has described to us how God at first showed his concern by taking from the Gentiles a people for himselfACTS 15:14 NIV).
Missions in its broadest scope is that part of every activity of the church ministry which contributes towards the effective fulfillment of the Great Commission of Christ
“Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘ All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always to the very end of the age.’ ” MATTHEW 28:18-20  (NIV).
Winona Gospel Church, in response to the great Commission has a committee which oversees the planning, integration, promotion and support of missions through the various ministries of the fellowship.
